We had a lot of fun creating a map for the ‘Smuggler’s Treasure Hunt’ with many generous prizes contributed by local businesses in support of the new community centre.
Our Ellen created a map of Hawkhurst and then hand sketched iconic local buildings to sit on the map.
|
Players chose squares on the grid trying to find the hidden treasure.
All the children received a chocolate coin or sweet.
It was a very hot day but we were pleased to see so many people enjoying the fun on the Moor. |
