Born in West Norwood, Eddie then lived in Mitcham and Biggin Hill before West Wickham and has finally laid down his hat in Hawkhurst.
Originally a civil servant and press photographer, Eddie changed direction to notch up 50 years in retail. With 36 years as self-employed in this sector; there is a lot of knowledge towards running a viable business that Eddie brings to the team.
“I want to keep the village vibe alive and a community centre enables my family and new neighbours to meet, enjoy evenings of entertainment, access rooms for business meetings, dance and fitness. I want a café facility to be fresh and welcoming with local staff and most importantly, paying for itself!”
Eddie enjoys the walk up to the revived Eight Bells from Little Switzerland and is very much looking forward to the delights of sledging there when the snow arrives. He has heard many rave reviews and we all know that he has a real treat in store.
