Tina joined the Trust in autumn 2019 and, with her husband Harvey, is our go-to expert on organising open-air events. She is never happier than when wearing a high-vis vest as a parking marshal! They have both gained much practical experience through their association with the Hawkhurst Fete Committee which organises the annual Summer Fete and events at Christmas. Tina knows what can go wrong, what to keep an eye on – and how to persuade kind people to donate items free of charge.
Both she and Harvey are also involved with the Bonfire Society. In her spare time walking is one of Tina’s passions; she leads weekly walks around the village and further afield and also explores Hawkhurst’s lanes and footpaths with her dog.
HCT 2018
