So many children, parents and grandparents came along to enjoy our wonderful Playday at the KGV playing field. There was almost too much fun to pack into one afternoon! Families listened, entranced, to Kevin our fascinating storyteller as he spun his tales, made us laugh with his ingenious riddles, and took us into a world of magic and creativity. Talking of creativity, there was face painting, dressing up and seed planting. There were lots of active things to do – the sandpit, running races, football, larking about on the hay bales with friends, running about blowing giant rainbow bubbles. And to keep everyone going, there were copious supplies of squash, tea, coffee and biscuits in the Pavilion. Bonus – the rain stayed off!
